The gentleman who took our registration went far above and beyond the call of duty. We had made some mistakes in booking and he was very, very accommodating and assisted us making adjustments as required, without further question. We were treated very well by the Expo staff, for which we thank you. The staff was very accomodating in taking care of our special needs. They also were always friendly and made every effort regarding matters unique to us.
all reviews » Close to metro station, clean rooms, hotel provided tourist brochures that we actually used, friendly staff that were able to recommend things to do. apart from the hotel being good could recommend the Salamanca Restaurant Almirral Cervera 34 for someone who enjoys excellent food, a hidden gem!!. I like the location of the hotel is very close the main train station and dedication of hotel staff, also their help to me when needed. rooms were clean,breakfast was tasty and rich,location was good,5minutes to the subway station and to the train station too. The staff were very friendly, the restaurant on the 3rd floor was very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. good location, friendly staff, great opportunity to get all information about the city fully on the reception. Vicente in the front counter was outstanding. He was so helpful and went out of his way to be kind. the staff were very helpfull and considerate by helping our friends finding transport etc.Breakfast was amazing - such a variety of food to suit every preference. location of hotel, friendliness of staff, and cleanliness of room. Right next to metro station covering 3 different metro lines so nowhere was more than 2-3 stops away and an after hours taxi was only about 7-8 euros from the city centre. Perfect location for all the sights.The hotel was so near to Barcelone main train station and the buffet breakfast was really good value for money with so many to select. We just loved it. Reception staff were excellent. Roof top terrace was a really good as most of us like to relax with a drink after sightseeing during the day. The ease of walking from the Train Station to the hotel, which is within sight of the train station entrance. The rooftop outdoor bar is also nice, with wonderful views of Montjuic.the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful, especially on day one where we didn't know where to go or what to do. Considering the price and quality of services the hotel supplies, the hotel could easily have the safe in our room as a free service. This was the first hotel we stayed with a safe in our room that cost moeny. Hotels in Italy, Greece, Madrid etc all supplied this service free of charge unlike here. Could not get the women's final tennis match on the TV but was able to get the men's. the hot breakfast was cold three mornings constancy, something wrong with temp control. Wi-Fi internet included in room price. All the people in the front counter are so beautiful and kinc!!!!!!. Kids in the pool when we wanted a quiet swim in the evening. the toilets don't flush very well. the assessment questionnaire should not be only one, but as many as the room guests. Room was a bit small, though spotlessly clean. wireless internet should be free as other 4 star hotel. a little noise because of some fans outside. It is my suggestion that such an ideal hotel should also pvovide free wireless internet access in the room(instead of the current chargeable option).just felt that the small bar downstairs should be more of the focal point for the hotel ie staying open later instead of the bar being on the top floor. No tea/coffee making facilities. Swimming pool closed during winter months.The bar facilities on floors 3 and the roof terrace were poor - over priced and no variety. Also the buffet restaurant was incredibly poor value for money - poor food, poor selection and high price. tv did not have many channels, we couldn't figure out the air system so the room was a little hot, but we just opened the balcony door to let fresh air in.No tea and coffee in the rooms - pretty bad considering it's a 4-star hotel. Maybe a little pricey, particularly for a single room. hotels do not appear to cater for a single traveller, preferring to allocate a double room and charge accordingly. Our party consisted of my wife and I and our 20 year old son.Drain in bathroom a bit smelly at times. indicate main entrance more clear. Yes ,most of 4 star hotel wireless internt are free,and if there iscoffe making machine. Cost of Car Parking - a lower cost or free parking might be very attractive to those touring on fly-drives and selection of this Hotel.The pool is small, and the meal is expensive. bar, romm service. the views looked onto another building with people staring back at you. A bit far from the old city core but the metro makes it seem a lot closer.

From the airport (El Prat).
- Enter Barcelona via the Ronda de Dalt, taking the Avenida Diagonal exit.
- When joining the avenue make sure to keep to the right side (do not take the middle lanes) and turn right onto Calle Numancia.
- Continue to the end of this street (passing by the Plaça dels Països Catalans - Estación de Sants).
- You will find Calle Mallorca on the right, where the hotel is situated.

By train:
From the airport there are direct trains to Estación de Sants (20 minute trip) every 30 minutes.
