It genuinely didn't feel like a hotel.
It felt very homely.
The hotel itself has been in the family for over 100 years and the Manager (who speaks great English)and his wife are two of the most friendly,helpful hotel owners that I have come across.

Hotel Europa is a very nice, budget hotel in Girona. It is a couple of blocks from the train station, and within 15 minutes walking distance of the major tourist destinations in Girona. The thing I liked best about Hotel Europa was the gentlemen at the desk. They were very helpful with a rental car issue I had. I would have been lost without their help.
