Magnificent views of the mountains and the estate from our room. Peace and tranquility.

Charge of R20,00 for a bucket of ice! Walking trails advertised but unmarked trails mean you keep hitting dead ends

Staff at Reception was extremely helpful and friendly. As I was travelling alone, the fact that the room was so close to reception, was great. The lodge is located superbly - close to town, but still with all the lovely views of the mountains (which was covered with snow the next morning)!

The shower screen at the bath did not work. The service at breakfast was not really up to standard - had to ask for everything.

everything, lovely stay will recommend it to people, so accomodating with early check in, nothing was to much trouble for the staff. breakfast was great, very pleasant stay overall!

Room was above staff kitchen & laundry, noisy from 05h45 until 23h15. Restaurant dinner food very mediocre. Breakfast eggs were cold!

The room was not as clean as it should have been the shower was over the bath and the shower door was broke so the water sprayed out all over the floor. The dust in the room on the furniture was very bad it was like the room had not been dusted in months
