  We arrived late (7:00pm) and the place was locked up and we were not expected. The host eventually answered his phone and said that he was not expecting anybody as nobody had advised him of the booking. He gave us the honeymoon suite to make up for the misunderstanding and we were thoroughly impressed with the hotel and everything worked out perfe... what people say » ctly and exceeded our best imaginations. - Great location close to the beach and restaurants. Wonderful view of the sea from the open deck. Very amiable hosts. Good braai facilities including wood, charcoal and firelighters. Vouchers for breakfast at the restaurant next door; 60 rands in value PP which is enough for a full english, an extra round of toast, coffee and enough left over for a tip for the friendly waiter.

  As there were no other bookings in the main house Elisabeth the owner upgraded us to one of the better rooms upstairs and we had the whole house to ourselves. The house is beautifully decorated and great for a group as its self catering.   The B&B is in the middle of the village in an old house just across the church and within walking distance to most of the restaurants. If you love a modern room you will not feel comfortable. We felt very welcomed, although we only booked two hours prior to our arrival. Our room was beautiful with a lot of detailed and we had the impression th... what people say » e owner had a lot of joy in putting the details together. The host gave us some tips for restaurants nearby. - This lovely old home with high pressed ceilings and a lovey view of the mountains and church was right in the middle of town. We could walk everywhere and the advice on places to visit from our very friendly hosts was great. The breakfast was also very good and set us up for a day of touring.

The hotel is full of character and beautiful - rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you could need including bottled water. The breakfast was full of variety and delicious.
