Great location for us. We only stayed one night to visiti the Cango caves as well as the Ostrich farms. The restaurant restaurant next to the guesthouse was excellent and ou host did reserve a table for us to make sure we would be on the terrace. The Guesthouse is very clean and is well equipped. Due to a unforseen circumstances we had to change our holiday plans very last-minute. We booked Vrede and arrived only hours later. We couldn't have picked a better place! The appartment is, as the name says, Deluxe, the view is spectacular and Maggie and her team are nothing but very very kind, helpfull and understanding. Despite our circumstances, Vrede 62 made the best of our week. Thanks again Maggie & William!

Burt and Bev are wonderfull people who really make you feel at home and let you do your own thing. Basicly the whole top floor is for the guests with great rooms with great views and own lounge/living room with a coffee machine, fruit, fridge with beer and wine. Just like you would have at home.

Clean, comfortable and in an excellent part of Cape Town. The area is safe enough to walk around and just up the road from the sea front. Burt, who is the owner is a wonderful host who will make you feel right at home. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Cape Town.
