  The Mondior is in a super location within easy reach of Johannesburg International Airport. A courtesy bus runs to the airport every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day. All in all, it was a wonderfully comfortable way - I stayed at Mondior for 1 night before my flight on the next day with my husband and 5 month old daughter. The hotel is right next to the airport and there is a shuttle every 20 min. to the terminal which is very convenient. As the room we booked was very small to fit a baby cot they upgraded us with bigger one which was very very nice of them. I was very impressed by the baby cot they gave us. The location is surprisingly rural, lots of open space around the hotel, and yet only a 10 minute ride to the airport.   Heather, the hostess, was helpful, friendly and informative. She described their rebuilding of the entertainment area after an electical fire two months ago and it will undoubtedly be an added attraction when completed in about 2 mos time. They are redoing the pool at the same time. The recently remodeled room and bath we were in showed good taste... what people say » and finish. The grounds not under construction were nice. Food was plentiful and delicious. I would definitely stay there again. - The staff and the owners were so lovely to deal with. Like other reviewers have said - it really was like staying with friends. Free internet, free airport pick up and drop off, free shuttle to areas locally (shopping center etc) We ate at the Guest House and like other reviewers - we thought the food was exceptional! We needed to be close to the airport so the location was perfect. The owners couldn't be more gracious and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay

People were on the streets, not homeless people just seemingly 'aimless' people. And it was - We were en route to Singapore and stopped over at the Aviator Hotel for the night. I was very impressed by the excellent Service provided and the extra mile staff went to when they transported my husband, my sick 3 year old and myself to hospital at 3am so my son could be nebulised. I was extremely grateful. we stopped over at the aviator on our return trip for a few hours so our family could freshen up and rest before our flight to Durban. I will definitely be using the Aviator hotel again.

Even before I got there, the staff was amazing - very responsive to emails, both clearly instructing me what to do when I arrived for airport pickup and also assisting me with putting together a program of sightseeing during my 18 hours on the ground. Airport pickup was just as des - The Staff were the best from the drivers, office staff cleaners and the kitchen staff. They became like family and I was sorry to have to say goodbye. The food - especially breakfasts were delicious filling and nutritious. Actually have not a single complaint. So appreciative of the wifi connection too.
