Efficient, easy check in and out. They held buffet open late because a SAA flight that came in late stranding passengers sent them here for a 10:15 pm arrival which was when I got there. Good internet access. Staff was friendly and nice. Easy, efficient service to and from airport. The Garden Court is very well-managed. The staff is courteous, the room is clean and the bed is comfortable with excellent linen. The buffet breakfast is varied and very good. Excellent hotel for overnight stay and close to the airport with free shuttle.

Good beds, excellent breakfast buffet, and an upbeat attached Irish pub for light dinner with comfort food and liquid refreshments. A very nice hotel, I have stayed here on numerous occasions on my visits to South Africa and never once had any reason to complain. All staff I have come into contact with have been very efficient and courteous. Good hotel for those needing a one night lay over. Close to the airport and good shuttle service. Breakfast is included and it good. The reception was excellent and checking in was timeously done. Checking out was also done professionally without any delays. The Irish bar attached (which is good!) closed at 10 pm which is way too early on a Sat. night!. For someone not familiar with the route to you need to take with your luggage cart from the airport to where you get the shuttle to the hotel, that part of the experience proved a bit of a challenge along with a r10 tip for a guide to help us thread our way through several turns, ups and downs. Since breakfasts is served at 6:30am, I was a bit anxious as I had an early flight and was afraid that I would miss my flight. Access to internet expensive and limited. I had to leave early, because I had an early flight. They promissed me the previous evening that they will have my breakfast on-the-go ready. Nothing came of it. No breakfast. Being charged for parking. Not a very nice neighborhood, not sure if it was safe to run for exercise, I thought it was expensive. Nothing. the lift voice had a little attitude (only joking). I am sure they have A room nearer to the lift to put me in as A senior citizen. Sachet of coffee in room very difficult to open. coffee at breakfast very strong. Having to pay extra for parking. The breakfast was very crowded and the food and drinks made it difficult to see what was available. There was little for someone who could not eat gluten/wheat. There was little fresh fruit. Rooms very small. wifi is expensive and a little bit hard to connect no fitness room. Rooms were being painted and the halls still smelled of fresh paint - both good and bad. the check-in at reception desk was very, very slow !. The pillows were very uncomfortable and too high. Upon check out we were not given a car park exit ticket and had to return to the reception desk to leave the hotel premises. This was very frustrating as we were running late for a flight. a bit pricy. Too little info....wasnt told at reception that I had to buy a voucher to use internet. No one knew which tv channels were available. No booklet or info sheet in the bedroom to give such info or any tel numbers incase of emergency and even after requesting this none was available. Difficult to access front of building for drop off (privately). impersonal feel, but I was only there one night, so maybe my fault. Staff not very pro active. The shuttle service to/from the airport was late on both my trips which was annoying given that I called to confirm the schedule beforehand. The receptions staff were really unfriendly -I asked for a two pronged plug and some conditioner. Neither were supplied. The carpets where not vacuumed and it was disgusting what was found under the bed. The breakfast was sub standard. The noise from the airconditioner made for a sleepless night, The general condition appearance and finishes were stuck in the 70's. Had more value for money staying at the Aviator Hotel. Transport was not working well. Wi fi rules were not clear and never informed clearly, so during my short stay I couldn´t have access to internet. Reception was not able/willing to solve that simple problem. aircon didnt work, internet wasnt included in rate noisy needs a facelift. i booked based on the high score, which i felt wasnt accurate.
