There is an open plain bath tub in the executive rooms. That's one of the reasons why I come back to this hotel regularly. If I book via letsbookhotel.com and not expedia, I will get breakfast included :). Very friendly and helpful staff. (I liked the hotel - the staff are probably its best asset) Good interior design. Comfortable room. Cleanliness throughout. Iron and board made available. Good location.

The square itself is a bit noisy. wouldve preferred A different view from the balcony. wished there was A bath in the bathroom. tv was bit small :/. lots of draws with nothing in, maybe A magazine or something to read would also have been nice. - parking is not free - bedroom is separated from the bathroom only with blinds so you hear from bathroom all the sounds - shower and toilet :). The failure of the hotel to fix the shower( the drain was not working) and their lack of honesty in not alerting us since it looked as if they were aware of the problem. Was told they have double bed and turned out that 95% of the hotel only has single beds. The parking was an issue as there was only on the street parking. Lack of safe parking. Paying for parking. There is no signage at the entrance that leads to the courtyard. Signage for the other 2 places are there except for the Tulbagh. There were mosquitoes in the room at night. Elevators. The bar closes way toooo early. Twin beds not the best option for couples. parking is an issue. The rate of the parking is to high You advertise that there is a fee for parking a fee is not r140.00 For two nights. If you at the r70 per night to your room there is a lot of other hotels to stay with free parking. Location at night, became a desolate wasteland where you did not feel comfortable going for a walk outside. Intermittent lifts, often not working. Shower running cold in the morning. There was a bad smell coming from outside and at somestages from in the bathroom. Maybe a plumbing problem!!!. Non-existent parking for guests of the hotel. The parking fee of R70 per night to the private parking company is ridiculous, especially seeing as there was no security and the gate boom was left open all night. The only disappointing part of our stay was the parking. Security around the Hollow Square a concern. Lots of idle and street wise people. The repair work on some of the finishes look a bit shoddy, and I wanted a bigger TV in my room. staff working hard to get into the full service and slick opperations expected in a hotel of this rating..... sure they will getthere soon... Our room smelled of cigarette smoke. they dont have an Halaal menu which was really disappointing. The tv is small, its the size of a computer screen. The feel of the place is cold. Bar closes, no fridge, limited towels and kitchen closes and you cant order food. I don't like the fact that we don't have parking. Facilities are not too comfortable. Got a backache with the mattress. No bar fridge room service took an hour just to bring ice and drinks. Tv channels were limited and there were cockroaches in the loo. There are no fridge and microwave in the room. - no fridge in the room - staff is shouting to each other during breakfast : it was not a relaxing moment - some parts of the room need to be renovated.
