Availability of a Hospitality room to freshen up whilst waiting for trannsfer to airport Being able to make our room available by 8.30 am due to early arrival instead of the usual 2 pm check in Friendliness of staff - 'we aim to please ' attitude Courtesy bus to CBD Public transport and tourist bus right out front of the hotel. Location was great with easy access to Clarke quay, staff and customer service was excellent. I arrived early and was lucky enough to check in early. Got a great room on 11th floor with a nice view towards river.

They wer very undersntading and helped relieve a stressful sititaion. close to the river and chinatown where all the action was Was within walking distance to many things we wanted to see. I liked the Chinese restaurant and the breakfast buffet. The Jacuzzi pool. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Privacy. Good location, next to a river and a very good ramen joint. They let us check in at 11am, room service was very quick. choice of restaurants. Nice view on riverside Clean and comfortable room. The staff were friendly. Nothing really. No free wifi, bit misleading when booking. Bed a bit uncomfortable and could be improved. cost for breakfast to high and ran out of toilet paper twice in 4 days. This is a very dated hotel, in desperate need of renovation. The bed wasn't very comfortable. The restaurants were overpriced. They charge for the Wifi. I wouldn't normally complain about if the speed and experience was better. Overall, don't come here expecting a 4-star hotel – more as a 3-star. Beds were rock hard, bathroom needed a refit, carpets weren't hoovered and we were woken up each morning at 8am by the guy who did our house keeping!. age of hotel. The hotel was expensive for what they offered. I cannot believe that the cost does not include breakfast or free wifi. The VAT and govt tax increases the price of the accommodation to beyond what other hotels offer. Staff not very friendly, our request for double bed (indicated in reservation) was changed into twin bed. Swimming pool could be nice if not such noisy (air cooler very close) and kitchen smells (fried fish at the menu !). This hotel badly needs a refurbishment. The rooms must be atleast 50 years old, the carpet was very dark and marked. Generally not very inviting or cheerful.. The prices were very high. Overall building 3 star and prices 5 star. Had it not been for the Grand Prix and high prices would have stayed somewhere else. We ordered a queen size bed but we got twin beds. Everyday we had to ask them to clean the room although we were out most of the day when we came back the room was not cleaned.
