The staff went out of their way to make us and our young children feel welcome and were interested in helping us if we had any queries. Terrific breakfast - no extra cost for the young kids. Everything was great. The front office staff were very helpful. It wasbetter than many other 5 star hotels that I stay at.EXCELLENT BUFFET BREAKFASTS AND DINNERS; STAFF FRIENDLINESS AND PROFESSIONALISM.

We were offered two complimentary drinks and had to wait another hour before we could rest - not good enough considering we were travelling with our 7 yo daughter who has a disability.the prices in the Italian resto, the prices of the drinks, over the top. The rooms probably are due for an upgrade. The ledge in the bathroom was coming loose and a man came to repair it, he said would come back but never did. He did repair the plug in the sink though.TV programs. too few TV channels. They should provide free internet in the rooms. should have a sauna suite. Maybe they could have more choice on the buffet breakfst menu.Also they could not provide the room on first day which could have been avoided. furniture slightly shabby, poolarea a bit bare. Have stayed at the Copthorne before and as usual was enjoyable, only complaint would be that the third bed that we asked for was like sleeping on a brick and very old, so well all lost a nights sleep taking turns on it!. I thought Internet was included in the price but had to pay sperate for it.1 that on the lobby there is only one restaurant, 2 location quite far from the center. End orice was different to one quoted on bookings.com. not a very good location. we asked for a non smoking room but it smelled strongly of smoke. the hotel is definately not 5 star!. The receptionist who checked us in didn't smile once, which didn't make us feel very welcome, and the room, although comfortable, was showing signs of wear and tear (scuffs on the walls, grout missing from the bathroom tiles). Hotel was fine overall but I expect there are better choices for the price. Service at Breakfast could be more attentive and friendly.run-down room, wallpapers came down already, not up-to-date any more, needs refurbishment ( I told the receptionist about this at checkout). Breakfast had a wide variety, but didn´t taste well (no matter what with only a few exceptions). internet connection very expensive. The deluxe room is not that spacious to compare from the picture I sawin internet. The bathroom is small and dark.
