  I was looking for a hotel nearby the Red Square at an “affordable” price. With respect to location it is one of the best hotels you can find in Moscow, being a five minute walk from the Kremlin entrance. When I arrived at 8 am, I was offered breakfast and was able to keep my luggage in a secured place. The receptionist was also so kind to give me ... what people say » some first advice. When I came back in the evening I was guided to my room and was very happy to see that it was a very clean and quiet room with a go - Very comfortable, nice-looking, clean room and bathroom,very friendly staff, central location is perfect for sightseeng, 4 min walking to Red Square. Breakfast is not rich but quite enough. We paid 5500 RUB per night, for this price in Moscow it is a fantastic place to stay

The hotel is widely used for conferences, with numerous areas dedicated to that. Breakfast is comprehensive. Continental and cooked availab - Borodino Hotel is constantly improving their service. Free Wi-Fi in every room works just fine. In case you do not have smart phone there is PC near reception and you can print your boarding pass - all for free as well. Excellent spa facilities. Very good location for visitors - all you need in a walking distance.

  Excellent location. At walking distance (20 min) from the Red Square, close to a metro station (3 min) and in a nice lane with a beautiful park along the lane. The park was still covered with snow, but we can imagine how nice it is in spring or summer. Rooms were very clean. Near the hotel there are several restaurants to have meals and drinks with not very high prices.Minibar prices are very affordable. The relationship quality/price is great, considering Moscow´s crazy accomodation prices.

Food good, breakfast was not massively extensive but adequate. Ate in the restaurant one night and it was good quality.   What a treasure! Much bigger and much cozier than an avarage hotel room plus you get a kitchen! Could not be happier with the vacation rental. As Mr. Balmont (a descendant of an old family of Russian aristocrats) puts it: "I strive for excellence, for my name is on the line." Constantin -the owner - was very polite and his hospitality made us feel very comfortable. The entrance is bad but don't give any attention at it. You ll enjoy every minute in that renovated flat. Very warm and clean. Close to smalenskaya metro station(light blue) and Arbat street. Only three stops to the center and Kremlin. I recommend it.
