  I was looking for a hotel nearby the Red Square at an “affordable” price. With respect to location it is one of the best hotels you can find in Moscow, being a five minute walk from the Kremlin entrance. When I arrived at 8 am, I was offered breakfast and was able to keep my luggage in a secured place. The receptionist was also so kind to give me ... ce que les gens disent » some first advice. When I came back in the evening I was guided to my room and was very happy to see that it was a very clean and quiet room with a go - Very comfortable, nice-looking, clean room and bathroom,very friendly staff, central location is perfect for sightseeng, 4 min walking to Red Square. Breakfast is not rich but quite enough. We paid 5500 RUB per night, for this price in Moscow it is a fantastic place to stay

  A good hotel, one of the cheaper ones I could find in Moscow. The room was a decent size, with good storage space. The decor is not the most modern, but you have everything you need. No kettle, though. Everything was very clean. The hotel is widely used for conferences, with numerous areas dedicated to that. Breakfast is comprehensive. Continental and cooked availab - Borodino Hotel is constantly improving their service. Free Wi-Fi in every room works just fine. In case you do not have smart phone there is PC near reception and you can print your boarding pass - all for free as well. Excellent spa facilities. Very good location for visitors - all you need in a walking distance.

  Excellent location. At walking distance (20 min) from the Red Square, close to a metro station (3 min) and in a nice lane with a beautiful park along the lane.   The location is perfect and easy to find if you don't speak Russian (from Domodedovo take the AeroExpress, take the metro from Paveletskaya to Avtozavodskaya and take the exit opposite to the direction of the metro you arrived on, and turn left) and the hotel is directly above the exit. The relationship quality/price is great, considering Moscow´s crazy accomodation prices.

  Stayed here 18-23rd August 2013. This was a good hotel within about 10mins walk of the the metro (VDNKh). Receptionists always spoke English. Food good, breakfast was not massively extensive but adequate. Ate in the restaurant one night and it was good quality.   What a treasure! Much bigger and much cozier than an avarage hotel room plus you get a kitchen! Could not be happier with the vacation rental. As Mr. Balmont (a descendant of an old family of Russian aristocrats) puts it: "I strive for excellence, for my name is on the line." Very warm and clean. Close to smalenskaya metro station(light blue) and Arbat street. Only three stops to the center and Kremlin. I recommend it.
