Stayed here 18-23rd August 2013. This was a good hotel within about 10mins walk of the the metro (VDNKh). Receptionists always spoke English. Food good, breakfast was not massively extensive but adequate. Ate in the restaurant one night and it was good quality. A bit difficult to locate at first, but it was quite quiet at night as not directly on a main road. Area was fine, seemed very safe day and night. Wifi always great, no problems.

There are no signs or name of the hotel seen from road. now. No tea and coffee in rooms. Very thin walls. A very weak soundproof. Next to our room was a staff room, and they were talking there constantly, even in the nighttime, that was annoying. Also there were many movings in the corridor, and that was pretty hearable. Squeaky bed. Empty minibar, and only one small bottle of mineral water on the table. There are extemely thin walls in this hotel - you'll hear everything from your neighbours, breakfast is really poor. Not much value for this money. I had room 405. It was stinky with swept! was not possible to stay in or sleep without opened window. Funny, that the bedding did not stink itself... it was whole room interior stinky. This hotel does not deserve 4 stars. It seems that it is a conversion of a hostel with old carpet and upholstery. Fortunately I only stayed for one day. Breakfast did not have much of a choice and certainly nothing for vegetarians. They didn't want to refill the empty jar of milk and had to ask for milk even though the man was there watching that I was looking for milk for my tea. Superior room for 2 persons was booked with describtion: Spacious room with separate seating area and soundproofed doors and windows. 1) At check-in they had information about only one person, 2) Room offered was heavly smoked, no other same ctegory room avaiable. Simple room was offered with no discount. cold in a room and air conditioning is not warming the air up found woman' hairs in the bed. yuk.
