I was in Manila for business for 5 days and from when I arrived at Dusit to when I left I found the hotel staff to be welcoming effecient and friendly. The club floor facilities are well maintained with a good selection of food on offer for breakfast and during the day. The staff there were also very accomodating. Rooms are clean and while the bathroom good have done with updating it was not a big issue as evrything else more than made up for it. The in house Thai restaurant is also of a very .

I thought the staff were all very curteous and we have never been treated better than anywhere in the world and I have travelled extensively. Also the position to shopping was excellent and thought the security was also great and made you feel very safe. I would go again and recommend to my friends. Food was awsome, loved every minute. Location is very good, walking distance to shopping malls & restaurants. Very clean hotel. Hotel staff are very helpful, friendly & corteous. Breakfast buffet is superb. I will be surely going back to this hotel in my next vacation. I am always staying in Dusit Hotel everytime my family is in Philippines for a vacation. Convenient location, food is great. Staff are usually warm, friendly and attentive (particularly concierge, bell hop, greeters, dusit club ladies); with the exception of a few waitstaff (morning shift) at Basix who don't smile at all. The breakfast waitstaff are too stressed out I guess trying to handle the numerous guests. The reception and bar, beautiful rooms that were so quiet, attentive staff and the upgrade we received to a suite. Lovely decor that just shouts quality everywhere. I would go there again and hopefully avail the pool too. Very nice hotel and the rooms have Wi-Fi for multiple computers. Food in good and has 4 restaurants- Thai, Japanese, Italian, general. The crazy prices, 240 pesos for San Mig Pilsen in can in the mini bar??? We just went to SM and bought what we wanted. We ordered Nasi Goreng in the bar and for 550 was quite ordinary. I can accept that most of the guests are on business trips and expenses so this doesn't matter to most, at least there is currently no restriction on what you consume in your room. The gym is a little dated but still nice. Would like to see it updated with new equipment and refreshed paint. This visit was flawless. I don't like to have the shower in the bath tub!!!. Breakfast buffet is rather chaotic and long waits at all areas. I did not like the fact that on the day of our departure we were disturbed TWICE to check on our minibar. The under speed had blood on it and it looked like it hasn't been cleaned properly. When I arrived in the morning after about 12 hours travel, I was told that I will not be able to check in my room before 2 pm unless I upgrade to a club room for 50% more which really was not in my requirements. The room was very below the standards of a club room I have seen in other places and it was obvious the staff just want to upsell rather than customer service. I was even planning to stay in the same hotel on my way back but cancelled. The place is a wreck. Upgraded to a suite, at great expense, as there were allegedly no standard rooms left. Wallpaper was patchy and mouldy, late checkout was dishonoured and carpet generally looks and feels dirty. I have no doubt this was a nice hotel in the mid 70's, however I think they've fallen behind in maintenance and upkeep since then. Bathroom too small. Old and staff at the restaurant not friendly.
