The staff was very professional friendly, room was well clean and comfortable, rotation of breakfast was very very good meet my every day expectations. A point of note even though the staff was very professional there are two that stands out the most namely Claudio and hussien. Even though we don't speak Spanish from the manager Mr bernat amill and every staff we encountered they make us feel like we were one of them, at no time did we felt left out or uncomfortable. all reviews » On my second day there, I sprained my foot while walking in the street. The night manager brought me ice to heal it until I didn't need ice anymore, and he waived all room service charges other than the food itself. He called each day to see if he could be of further service. We were very impressed by his hospitality! All the other people working there were both courteous and friendly. We felt very welcome. The staff were friendly and helpful...and made my first visit to Panama City pleasurable. In fact, I'm planning to return to the same hotel with several of my friends who are visiting Panama and the tryp hotel because of my experience. Thanks. The service was amazing! My Spanish is mediocre at best but they spoke great English and encouraged my attempts at speaking Spanish with them! They were knowledgeable about the area and extremely accommodating! The room was great. The beds are very comfortable and the shower was very clean with good pressure. The pool was fantastic. included buffet breakfast was very impressive. The rooftop bar offered "happy hour" from 5:30-10:30 daily. There was never a bar tender up there; I called reception once to ask them (in spanish) to bring someone up, they didn't and I even asked at the front desk if they would be open and to send someone up they said sure and never did. The tourist desk was a bit of a joke and very unhelpful. Nothing - we would thoroughly recommend the Tryp Panama Centro. Parking lot to small, but Ok at the end. Nothing. Not a good location for Old Town. Lifts a bit slow. TV largely Spanish language stations plus CNN & ESPN. Breakfast was ok, but limited in variety. Using the room key card every time I needed to use the elevator. The restaurante closes early and some attendants are not nice. location on the edge of business centre, not much there. Breakfast could be better,not much to choose from and not very tasty. internet service, very slow. Roof Bar is closed at 09:00 p.m., it would be nice to sit there for one or two hours more. Breakfast a little bit expensive, but normal for panama. The pool should be clean in the night not during the day, especially on a Sunday. Someone in the hotel should tell you to walk with your passport because the police stop us one day and ask for it. He was going to take us down, he was not accepting a driving permit. And remember that area s full of tourist. Come on panama do you want tourist or not?. Breakfast did not have enough healthy options. Elevator was not working properly. Hot water was´t really "hot" No areas for smokers.
