City Living have a perfect location in the middle of Tromsø, close to restaurants, bars and shopping. The airport bus stops few meters from the hotel. Good size apartments with stylish interior and good furnitures. Greate beds, pillows and blankets. Very clean apartments. Nice little kitchen with all you need for a light meal. You can buy breakfast deals from the hotel at Egon at kr. 80,-, very good buffet with lots of choices. Excellent service in reception, they where very kind and helpful. .

In walking distance to main attractions and museum. Very helpful was the kitchenette where I could prepare meals, since everything is pretty expensive for continental European standards. Safe place to stay, as the whole city. In the future I'll stay there again!. Location was really convenient to the main shopping street in Tromso. It's also just across the street from the other hotel where you can take the flybussen (airport bus) to the airport. Standard room was big and spacious. Really liked that there was a stove inside the room for you to cook, because Norway is such an expensive country. Staff were really helpful and friendly too! :). Most of city centre sights are with in walking distance, easy to find, nice, clean and conplete with kitchen utensils kitchenette, room interior is simple contemporary modern basic but nicely set up, lady receptionist was amazing (shes the best receptionist we ever encounter in our travelling life!), its feels so much like home staying in this hotel. Nice hotel with a good location. Bus Nr.42 from the airport has a stop just around the corner. Very close to shopping, museums. The most helpful staff, and the most comfortable bed ever! 0-24 parking under the hotel (be careful, doors closed between 22:00 - 07:00), free overnight parking on the side, but always full :) Alvis is just 50 m away. The room was a single room with a kitchenette and all the needed supplies. Everything was neat, well organized and spacious. The staff was very nice and helpful. The location is great. Some of the main attractions can be reached by foot and public transportation is just one or two streets over. The staff are uniformly exceptional. We stayed there for 4 nights and interacted with at least 4 different people at the reception, and all of them were exceptionally polite and helpful. There is a small cooking station in each apartment which helps for longer stays. The staff were amazing. The hotel is in a brilliant location and so central for everything you need in Tromso. Great in Norway, where things are so expensive. It did not feel like a regular hotel, but kind of an apartment studio. It was quiet. The size of the twin room/apartment we got was great and included a little living area and kitchenette. The location was also in the heart of downtown Tromso. We had a great time staying there. I can't say enough about that wonderful town and its people. With regard to the City Living hotel, my favourite feature was its central location, as it was very close to the main shopping street, public transport, harbour, supermarket, library, and other useful and interesting places. I also liked its friendly and professional staff and the fact that my room was very quiet. Having free internet acces. Cooking facilities in the room was convenient. The mattress was to soft and the sink in the bathroom was to little so water spilled on the bathroom floor. Since as a runner I eat lots of pasta before the marathons, there was no pasta-drainer. Shower cubicle could be bigger as the toilet was quite spacious. :). Nothing that we didnt like. Cleaning the room during long stays can help. There isn't anything negative to say about City Living. I liked everything, I wished they had emergency sewing kits, which I needed. Nothing!. Nothing negative at all. We loved our stay here!. The first spare bed was broken - perhaps this should have been more carefully checked by housekeeping, but it was promptly replaced so not a big problem. I would have liked if reception had been open 24 hours, it closed at 10 every night. The separate reception area and having to walk in the snow to get there from the hotel entrance. The welcome book in our room was tatty and had body hair in it! That was the one and only thing I didn't like...!. please clean the remote controls! or put them inside a plastic bag. Could have done with a microwave instead of an oven. The room was not clean when we arrived at 3 pm. We had to wait till 4 pm to check-in. The noise - right beside traffic lights and noise nearly all the time. No complaints!. The parking is in the basement but it must be paid apart using the automatic machine. This machine sometimes doesn't accept credit cards and then you must have Norwegian coins available for the payment. Not a thing !. Expensive, but all of Norway is!. Kitchen could be better equiped and broom and dust pan should be provided in the apartment as well as more than 1 tea towel. limited opening hrs of reception. Missed the minibar... In addition to insufficient kitchen equipment, the cooker only had two hobs, which were so close to each other that it was almost impossible to use them both at the same time. As a result cooking a proper meal was quite a demanding task. I was a solo traveller and booked a single room. Obviously I had a single bed, but unfortunately it was quite small. There was no microwave.
