Everything! The lady who checked us in after being in transit for 38 hours was nothing but helpful and greeted us warmly. We were even informed that we were upgraded to a business class room which was greatly appreciated. We also had 2 separate bookings as we had 3 night tour booked and re-checking in when we had to was no problem at all. the breakfast is fantastic with so much variety. Yes it can be busy at times but that is to be expected. The staff work efficiently to clear tables and assist.

I'm impressed with the sauna with amazing night view on the 10th floor...more importantly it's free!! Strongly recommend it! and the room rate is quite reasonable=D. Great location, the breakfast was fantastic (but warning if you are a vegetarian, you will have fewer options) and the staff was fantastic and very friendly. I only came across 1 receptionist who was less approachable then all the other staff. And the sauna and relax area had wonderful view of the mountains. Everything. Good location, the bus from and to the airport stops only a few meters away the hotel. Staff was very nice and helpful, I asked a room with a good view and the girl gave us a superior room for the price of the standard, thank you again! Large and very good breakfast. I loved the relaxation room on the top floor offering a sauna & solarium & amazing views of the harbour & mountains. We arrived but there was a mix up with our rooms but this was rectified and we were offered the junior suite as compensation. Staff were amazing. Very helpful and friendly. Location was great. The room was big and bed and pillow very comfortable. Had greats nights sleep. Aurora restaurant food was very nice. I had a Businessroom with great view (No 722) - that is very recommended. The hotel is situated in the city center very near to Hurtigruten pier and the bus station for the bus to Narvik. The room was small but nice. We liked the breakfast. The only small thing would be water escaping the shower area, however this is easily wiped up with the bath mat. One receptionist did not understand that a kettle was needed for tea. She insisted that hot water will come from the nesspresso machine, but I needed to explain, many times, that it was not hot enough for tea and also you could still taste the coffee from the machine. She still did not get me a kettle. Finally I spoke to a chambermaid who was much more understanding and she got me a kettle within the hour. Super breakfast was good but nothing really extraordinary for a 4 Star hotel. The hotel is very proud of its wellness center but the fitness room is very small and opens not before 7 o'clock in the morning. Internet connection had some issues during my stay. They couldn't register my Star Alliance member card during check in. Poor check-in process - only 2 staff working and being forced to queue to check in after a long journey. Really silly quibble but the towels provided were ultra thin and threadbare. nothing. it has no shower, just a bathtube. Overnight parking charge was way too expensive!. A dirty plastic fork was left in front of the elevators 5th floor for at least 2 days, showing that cleaning was not what they do best. Men's sauna was out of work And no message to use women's was given. Room cleaning could be better there was bottle tops left by previous occupants and waste bin not emptied after first night. The parking place at the front of the hotel was noisy, with lots of music from young kids. No bath in my (business) room ;the bed was small.I was also put in a room without a view when clearly such rooms were available. Had to choose between having a room with a double bed, or a twin bed with waterside view. As I was with my partner this was the only downside. The room I had, was inner facing to the other building, so an extremely limited view of any of the town, or the surrounding scenery. I was right alongside the glass bridge, over the side street. After the housekeeping on first night, our trash had not been taken out. Room occasionally room not serviced adequately. Breakfast buffet was a bun fight!. Some hotels in this price range were also offering dinner included, which would have made more value for money. Booked a family room but got a standard room with extra bed. Unfortunately I did not pay attention to the bill. The family rate was charged. Feel ripped off. Long lasting lines of inchecking people because of,aparently, unsufficient desk capacity. The room was so dusty and the bedsheets gave us sores on our elbows. Nothing. We were 5 persons a we get the invoice for 6 persons. We couldn`t change it. the staff is not very helpful in suggesting activities and supporting the organization. The top relax room is wonderful but very small and often crowded. At the front desk did nothing after my reporting about to repair lamp on the table. Bathroom too small Water attached to the wall, no space left No shelf in the bath room there is no space around the desk. Just mixed feelings about the restaurant in hotel. Poor design, slow service. Hate hotel rooms which don't have bathtubs - if they are not in every room then this should be a booking option. Rooms a bit small Not many facilities Not good value for money. No slipper in the room. No free coffee in room. TV is small in room. Fitness room is a joke No boiler on room Expensive. No coffee making facility in room, climate control not functioning so room freezing and only a small light Donna for heat. I don't like he idea of not having a free parking space. The parking space that the hotel offered to us was very expensive. The breakfast was so so. The price I paid was exorbitant, double what is usually paid for this kind of hotel in Tromsø. There was a glass of red wine under the bed. And a half-drank bottle water in the refrigerator. No porters broken bike equipment no hearing in room when we arrived and minus thirteen outside. breakfast warm/hot items cold every morning told staff but no change!!. top relax cleanliness(or the lack of it..
