Everything, it was our best hotel in New Zealand. The apartment was
huge, clean and extremely comfortable. We were a family with 2 children
under 3 and grandparents too and we could all have our space. The
apartment had 2 floors, 2 panoramic balconies looking at the lake, 3
bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and 2 upstairs rooms. Easy access
from the garage to the room through an elevator. I would highly
recommend it!

Lovely hotel! Great location, a short walk into town - yes, it is uphill on the way back but they do offer a free shuttle service every hour if you don't want to walk back! The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The staff are so pleasant and friendly, very helpful in booking a range of activities for us, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. All in all, a great stay, hope we can come back some time!

Nicely located near to the lake, close enough to the city yet far from the noise. This is the best accommodation in Queenstown. Views from apartment 16 were breathtaking. Andrew, who is probably the manger, is an absolutely helpful and nice person. Interior design of the apartment is incredible and the colours are so comforty for the eyes and stylish. The hotel offers free internet, yummy sweets on arrival and there was a free iPhone app works as a guide and offers advice on activities in QT. SIMPLY THE BEST, SIMPLY COMING BACK.

Location, location! The 1- and 2-bedroom apartments have fabulous views across Lake Wakitipu to the mountains, and the apartments are 10-15 minutes walk into central Queenstown. The Haka lodge is located perfectly for anyone wanting to be a close walk from Shotover St, however is also nicely set in a quieter area of Queenstown. 5 minute walk from all bars and shops, the Haka lodge is excellent value for all backpackers. Still looking as good as new, kitchens, bathrooms and bedroom (ours a double room) was perfect for our short 2 nights stay. Had a very friendly dog called Monty! :-)
