We were 2 couples visitng Rotterdam for the weekend to be with my son who is studying in college there. As one of our party has Parkinsons we needed somewhere central, comfortable (home from home) and not too expensive. Urban Residences in Rotterdam was exactly what we needed and have no hesitation in recommending their apartments. all reviews » The single-room apartment is big with a balcony. You can get off at the Beuros station and then get there within 2-3 min by foot. There are many shops, restaurants and museums around the apartment, so the location is very convenient. The apartment is iconic and comfortable and also suitable for having a party with friends. The nightlight sights are pretty good and you can see Euromast from the balcony. The free WiFi is fast speed and there is a safecase in the wardrobe. If I will travel to Rott. Everything about urban but most of all the penthouse view luxe feeling of high ceilings and spacious living room and top to floor ceiling. Wash and dryer. Dishwasher, excellent design and layout of apartment. Fast elevator, great and caring staff, like Robert (wonderful guy,so congenial and very much service oriented) and Jessica who assisted us in an excellent way when we needed cleaning changed or had questions on future reservations. Jessica is highly professional and represents Urban hotel . Superb new apartment, in an excellent location. spacious space, with all the facilities and amenities you may need. you take the car by an elevator to the car parking in the third floor. you will get used to it. location is perfect just in the center of a shopping area. reception is not 24 hours, but that wasn't a problem at all. While checking in, just ask how the AC is operated. Parking is 24 euros per day, however the nearest car park charges 30 euros. in general parking is expensive in Rott. The apartment was absolutely tidy and clean, including the bathroom and the toilet. Kitchen equipment is state-of-the-art and dishes / cutlery are also clean and thus useable (which is not self-evident, as I had to experience in other houses). What I particularly liked was the location and the view from the apartment. "Small things" like a welcome set of coffee capsules or recommendations on restaurants etc. completed the overall good expression. The check-in after 5.00 on a Saturday was no problem and the information on what to do in Rotterdam city was explained very well by the staff. The spacious living area with wonderful views of the street life and beyond kept our two young boys entertained as well as providing a great view from the 17th floor at night with all the lights. The apartment has everything we needed for a 5 day stay. We liked the city views from the appartment, location, the car park was excilent. The appartment was excelent was really well laid out and very mordern and very usser friendly we had terrific time in Rotterdam and hope to return to it again in the near future. Fast wi-fi. View to Rotterdam. Directly besides Metro and lot of shops. Good position also for Ahoy Exhibition Center (3 stops without changing). In case of late arrival there was also not problem, just let them know and somebody will expect you. In one word: fantastic. Thank you!!. Basically everything was perfect, from first encounter to checking out. Will definitely book again. Kettle is not working. Could use 6 piece china and cutlery instead of 4 piece. The penthouse had a sewer odor sometimes which problem we solved by running water in the bath tub we did not use. So it did not become an issue. Such a minor thing it isn't really worth mentioning but the room did not have laundry powder for the washing machine and there was no detergent to wash things when we didn't want to use the dishwasher. Both items were easily purchased by us at the very close supermarket. Any idea. Everything was perfect. There is nothing that comes to mind that I did not like. When we arrived, there was no one there to let us in. Nothing. An EXCELLENT hotel/apartment. the emergency call wasn't picked up for the many times callings. We liked everything. Nothing to mention here. Can not think of something. The parking was secure but the car lift was suffering teething problems and it took a while to get out. We thought the parking expensive but then discovered that Rotterdam parking is even more expensive so it is worth taking it. Just very minor things. There was a funny smell from the shower drains in the bathroom. Would have been helpful to have some washing up liquid so we could wash small dishes instead of having to wait to be able to fill the dishwasher. Nothing. Nothing. The kitchen should be equipped with English instruction for the oven. We still don't know how to operate the stove as all is in Dutch and it was the weekend so we can't ask for help from the staff. No meals at all.. Limited check in time (you have to contact them if you late check in).. Although it's air conditioned, but cooling system didn't work well.. Cancellation policy is a bit strict. Had to delay my stay two weeks and lost the complete cost of the booking. So, ended up paying for a complete month but only staying for two weeks. There is nothing we did not like. A minor remark would be that the kitchen could use some more utensils, especially for extended stays and when some cooking is being done. Nothing comes to mind. Truly, there is nothing to not like about this superb residence. Keep in mind that there is no 24 hour hotel reception. Maybe they should include a small pack of washing machine soap, to prevent what I had to do, buy a pack which I used just once and had to worry about carrying with me. Leaving!. Nobody was in office the day we had check out. We wantes to extend our stay by one night, but the reception told me this was not possible because the Person who is responsible for Reservations and Extensions does not work on weekends. We were very disappointed since this is actually a very simple task. Also we were very disappointed when we found out that the TV does not recognize any devices when hooked up through Audio In , since the selection of radio channels was very limited. it was quite difficult to open the door using the key card. fortunately my husband knows how it works. There is no reception which is a big minus. When we checked in we had to wait outside the residences on the road for 15 minutes before we were buzzed into the residences. Also the first night we were unable to operate our room key as it was tight and it took half hour for someone to even call us back!!! We finally managed to get into the room after repeated tries but we feel someone should have been there immediately to assist us since we were stranded outside our room. N/a. The building is difficult to find...But it is in the shopping center. Ended up covered in flea bites after the first nights sleep, can't really blame the place more the dirty so-in-so from the night before, staff moved me to a new room the next day. Nothing. The cold weather....
