  Staff was very, very accompdating. I even ran into them on the streetand they hailed me and asked about our day. They went out of their wayto assist even finding specific directions to get to the airport viapublic transport. They were gracious and kind and as I was travelingwith my 11 year old daughter, it was really appreciated! The building was freshly renovated, the place overall good, fully equiped. Also, I would like to recommend the friendly and reliable staff: we have left there a luggage with some expensive stuff and they had been very helpful to get our luggage back.

  Charles, the owner, was extremely attentive and helpful. He made us most welcome and wanted to make our stay as comfortable and as memorable as possible. He gave us lots of suggestions for places to visit. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The peaceful location was excellent for getting to all the major attractions. The stocked kitchenwas a fantastic addition to our stay. Charles was a fabulous host! ThePark Mansion was so comfortable that it was a pleasure to come back torest and relax before the evening activities. We even had a littlepicnic on the rooftop deck on one occasion that we will never forget! Wewill be sure to return here again.

The hotel is in a really quiet area, but is still close enough to the centre of Amsterdam, the tram stop is about five mins away or to walk would probably take avout an hour, but its only about fifteen minutes walk from the Vondlepark. As there was room available, we could keep my car at the hotel's parking lot even after we had checked out, at no additional cost. Overall, an excellent hotel for the price.

  We got a great apartment in a cool neighbourhood - what more could you need? Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, and a supermarket in the next street, so you won't starve. Trams are nearby, making it easy enough to get around the city, plus the museums were a walkable distance away.   The staff were always very friendly and helpful. They also let me bring my dog, and were very nice to him as well :) The location was great, it was very near many of the main museums, within walking distance, and the tram stops were about 5 min walk away. Parking was more difficult, but we were able to find a spot on the street nearby, and parking... what people say » is free on Sundays so we didn't end up paying much. Our room had a balcony so that was nice. Room had a safe to lock up valuables which was free, and - Quiet location and spacious room: it is definitely worth staying slightly outside the city centre for these comforts. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of the three major art galleries and the Vondelpark, which is great for picnics, reading and people-watching if you want a break from the hustle and bustle (or from all those paintings!).
