... what people say » ed early in the the morning (7:30AM). - The location was great (about 2mn walk to Centraal Station, right next to the shopping area, restaurants and bars, etc...), friendly and helpful staff, nice varied buffet for breakfast, quiet hotel considering the location (even on New Year's Eve!), all facilities provided in clean and cosy room. We will definitely choose The Avenue hotel again for any future trips to Amsterdam.

As we only spend one night in Amsterdam (attending a concert), there is
not much to say, possitive or negative. We wanted to stay in the centre
of town. The hotel is a few yards from Leidseplein. So location is
great. We booked a small double, which was nice, clean and cosy. For
breakfast we went to a bakery, so no comment on that. Will keep the
hotel in mind for next stop in Amsterdam !

My daughter and I both loved the location ... the residential area and the close proximity to Vondel Park. The twenty minute walk through the park each morning and afternoon was the perfect transition into the city and back.
