The hotel was great! Very friendly and helpful staff. Great room - I loved the en suite facilities! Obviously recently revamped, the decor was funky and unique - didn't feel like a 'chain' hotel at all. Beds VERY comfortable. Bar and reception great for ending your evening or waiting for friends in the morning. Lovely location, right next to the park. On the tram line (no 2) but very quiet.

Being English, this is a shame! For anyone reading this, just take a few tea bags with you, or drink the herbal teas provided. This hotel is not suitable for those wishing to be in the centre of the town or looking for lots of drinking. It's quiet and reserved but easy to get around from. I think the breakfast was kind of expensive but at least had good food options.There was a lot of noise on Monday evening late into the night, this was uncomfortable. I guess they could make the free wifi internet access available to the whole hotel instead of restricting it to the lobby area. I can't see the point of this.I thought that the price 129 euros would include breakfast. Room a little bit cold.The air climatizer doesn't warm up the room, only throw cold air, but you can turn on the wall heater.I did not feel comfortable with the design of the toilet, since it was separated from the room with only a half shaded glass partition, however this should not be a problem for couples or solo travellers. The buffet breakfast, while expansive, at $17.50 Euro per person was not a good value, and we went elsewhere.The room was near some stairs which made a right din in our room - especially at night - but got used to it. Couldnt find a way back to the hotel after 12am, had to get a Taxi as couldnt find night bus that would take us to hotel. Maybe a little further out from city centre than i would have liked but easily reached with tram right out front of hotel.One morning there was no hot water. However, the problem was solved after a few minutes. Very poor lighting in bathroom. nice walking through the park during the day but at night, it was not that close to the center as mentioned. only tram 2 was passing very close. as there was no wall but partly frosted glass, no privacy for the toiletandshower. I would prefer not to have that much carpets in the hotel as they cause bad smells, especially if the weather is rainy and humid. Room service staff not pro, did not replace the standard / tidy up our room. The building seem to be under-renovation, workers changing carpets and lights and that the reception counter is at the main building. The carpet in both rooms we had (we were in 4) was badly stained, and the rooms could do with a little modernising. no privacy in bathroom. The rooms security door latch will not work. We stayed in the main building and it was very good. No, the facilities were fine and the staff were polite and helpful. Very expensive breakfast; there are several options in the surrounding area, much cheapers and of similar quality. the distance from the lobby to the lift of my room... misrepresentation of room on website. Air conditioning was a little annoying (noisy). So we didn't use it - but we didn't need it anyway. Breaffast was rather expensive (18 €) and not in relation to the hotel roomrate.The carpet was stained and it was pretty noisy, not to be recommended for couples.

This deposit is used for damages and extras taken in the hotel. The hotel will check the validity of the credit card at the time of booking, which may include a pre-authorisation of EUR 1.00. If the credit card is proven to be invalid, you will have 24 hours to provide the hotel with a new valid credit card.
