Quet, blooming tree across the street, nice bed, really nice staff. I liked the area, staff was friendly. the young personnel and easy dealing. Convenient for the tram line into town and the main museums; good value for money and a good breakfast. close to most attractions some can be walked to easy convience of tram. The breakfast was very ok and the hotel staff friendly. Good location, friendly staff who spoke excellent English. We were upgraded to an apartment which was very useful as we had access to fridge and cooking facilities. Although we didn't use the cooking facilities the fridge and crockery were useful.I left something in the hotel room and the staff are forwarding it to me.The hotel is really charming, in a typical building: abrupt staircase,little backyard,... The room is rather comfortable, functional and clean(except the carpet). We had a big nice comfortable and clean room at the third (top) floor. A convenient hotel in a quiet neighbourhood. I am a night person and do not liketo be woken up in the morning to have a room clean while I am stillsleeping. There must be a better way. some things were out of order. Noisy main road. stairs. Very narrow stairs. The stairs were very steep. Some parts of the building need upgrading, eg stairs carpet shabby. This hotel would not be suitable for someone with mobility issues.The gourmands won't be satisfied by the breakfast, the buffet proposedis rather limited. Internet is only accessible via lan and with your owncomputer, and it's obviously not included in the rent. You are obligedto let 20euro in guarantee for the specific keys, so you'd better havethem with you for check-in. Poor breakfast, no elevator, narrow and steep stairs (third floor is for athletes). As a couple we were given only one cardkey for the ouside door and only one key for the room door; city tax calculated extra afterwards; a little bit expensive for what you get generally;. Don't have too heavy luggage as there are no elevators and the stairs are steep! was a bit of a hazard to get down... Room far too hot because of hot water pipes running the height of the room. The only cooling option was opening the window and the noise from the road was incredible and incessant.The room was quite shabby and needs renovation. The bed was uncomfortable and the mattress did not have enough support. The room was in an annex, and it was necessary to go outside to get to the breakfast room. The staircase to the room had a terrible smell, and the staircase was murderous; very steep and narrow, and extremely difficult to carry a suitcase. The bedside lights did not work properly. the staff could have acknowledge us.not really clean, breakfast is very boring, very far. When taking a shower, the water didn't run away properly.cleaning lady knocking on the door in the morning asking question "are you sleeping" more than once. I was on third floor, it is not confortable at all to go up to the room with the baggage due to the steep staircase.Dirty carpets. Stark rooms.only two old crusty towels.
