What people say
I loved how friendly and accommodating the staff were. The rooms were big and clean, and the location of the hotel just can't be beaten. They also have a Sunday late checkout which was AMAZING and made our trip that much more pleasant. I will definitely stay there again. Location to city centre and Centraal Station. Everything was easily accessible. Close to trams, shops, eating places, pubs the Dam and the usual tourist attractions, including those with coloured lights :). all reviews »

The location is excellent for transit passengers, the lobby is welcomingand the concierge lads are polite and friendly. Convenient location - easy to get to train station and to walk into the city; nicely laid out room; beautiful lobby. Location was exceptional, room quality, cleanliness, spaciousness, sound restriction and amenities were flawless. You could change the pillows - excellent idea and an adapter was available too. The hotel is near the railyway station. Location, Room size, Hotel amenities. location, comfort, quality. great location. Location. I accidently clicked on the wrong rate package and didn't notice until AFTER I had checked in and had a chance to recheck your web site. I was expecting a standard room with breakfast for 2 for 3 nites at 631 Euros. Instead, I had no breakfast at a delux room for and21 Euros. Fifteen minutes after check in I asked them to change, since it was way before 4PM cancellation time and I realized the. Staff was very friendly and corteous. I was first given a room on the second floor facing the street, and there were major roadworks taking place, creating a lot of noise. However, when I called reception, there was no problem in changing rooms, and within ten minutes I was installed in a different -- and quiet -- room.Hotel location is excellent, 3 minutes walk from Amsterdam central station, 5 minutes walk from Dam square - rooms are very comfortable, in the room - coffee kettle, minibar, iron.payable internet conection and gym. The cleanliness of the room and all others areas of the hotel. The staff was excellent, as well as a great chef cook. What can I say other than our stay was superior!. Nice, very spacious and comfy room, featuring a large bed and a lot of comfortable and useful furniture. The location is excellent as well. Excellent value for money. My room was upgraded to a suite on the 5th floor, which had the most amazing view!!! Brilliant hotel, would stay there again. The late 5pm checkout on Sunday was great also fantastic location right opposite central station. The location is perfect - central to everything - yet there was no problem with noise at night. It is a quiet place ,no one disturbs you, but they are there when you need them. Great location, clean and spacious room - late checkout on Sunday issuperb idea. the location was very convient and the staff was very courteious and friendly. Extra amenities, such as coffee/tea maker, bath robe, ladies´ room.Centrality of the hotel and the underground parking available. lcoation to train station and city center. Being so central to all the attractions. Being close to the central station. It would be nice if breakfast and/or the use of the gym were included in the room price. No. We were really impressed. The origonal smoking room was not as nice as the non-smoking room, but I guess that is the penalty you pay for smoking. Not a thing however when we left the hotel I left my navy blue shortsbehind (my fault entirely). If found is there anyway that you couldforward them to Australia at my expense? My email address ismal_mar@bigpond.com..A very small yet irritating thing, one of the floodlights directly outside my window would intermittantly turn off and on. breakfast was expensive. El parking es subterráneo por ascensor. Un tanto complicado pero el chofer del hotel te realiza la maniobra de guardar / sacar el coche. pricing of breakfats. Breakfast to be included in the price. Longer opening hours at the spa.Breafast was good, but over priced. The fitness center cost an extra 12 Euros to use, and it wasn't even very nice. Was not pre warned that the adjoining restaurant was closed. Cost of pay for view TV very high. the lifts were unpredictable. The internet facility in the business center is too slow to start. Only one out of the three PCs responded within five minutes. we only tried breakfast one morning, there was a very very good selection but the cooked breakfast was not very hot. It was very expensive. No smoking rooms. noise across canal. (continued from above) error. At 1st they said no, but did make the change, although i had to repeatedly talk to the front desk and a manager, because they kept adding 50E breakfast charges daily. Evntually paid 686E total including City Tax. That they first gave me a room on the second floor facing the street where there were major road works going on through the night. Reception team not very welcoming. You could not open the window of the room. I really like fresh air in the mornings and this was annoying. Staff were informative but always looked miserable.Service with a smile would have been nice.parking was very pricey. street noise in room and hard bed. At the arrival the receptionist asked for the whole deposit of the amount to be paid for my stay plus 100 guarantee in cash , since I did not have a credit card. When I told the receptionist that I did not have that amount on me that moment , but I could pay immediately for the room, she was very rude and very reluctant to give a key to my room.
