Quiet, comfortable, friendly

There is quite a loud noise when someone shuts a bedroom door (unless they are trying hard to be quiet). It would be good if you could reduce this noise, perhaps with padding.

Relaxed atmosphere, pleasant staff - nice modern and simple decor in the rooms, decent breakfast, relatively quiet. Good value price for a single room. Some folks might find the climb to the fourth floor a challenge.

I'd probably try to stay at the other v hotel for a more central location. Also could not get the wireless internet to work - but there was free net access in the lobby.

Access to Wi-Fi from my room, nice buffet breakfast and pleasant hotel staff. My choice of this hotel was based on proximity to the RAI Conference Centre and affordability (the lowest rate I could find). And I didn't regret it.

Steep and narrow staircase. However, I knew about this (through the comments of other previous guests) before I made my choice, so it didn't really bother me that much.

The interior design and convenient location between conference center and city center.

The Staff were helpful and friendly, The room had comfy interior and nice magazines to look at, and we loved the table that rolled up the bed for our champagne.

The Door, not always answered quickly, but I guess on the other hand its very secure...

it was so close to the amstel station etc. and across the hotel was a nice quiet square with trees etc. It was just lovely to peer out the window.

the steep stairs! not handy when you've had a drink down town.

The staff at the hotel were really welcoming. While the hotel itself is somewhat basic (allthough clean and comfortable) relative to typical hotels for business travel, they more then made up for it! For personal travel (when an employer is not paying the bill) I believe this hotel offers a very good balance between cost and comfort.

It's funky

Convenient, less bland and faceless than most hotels. Evidentlyconverted from apartments. It has typically Dutch steep stairs, which isok if you don't have much luggage.

The (single) room is tiny! Ok to sleep in but not for much else!

staff is very kind. breakfast is ok and the free wifi is always a +.

small bathroom with the washbasin really not adapted to the size.

Breakfast area is very nice

I didn't like the fact that I had to go through all the doors like labirenth to go to the 3rd floor

Breakfast was not bad but you had to pay extra to get a decent coffee and even toast?!

Tiny and over hyped on it's website. The bar was basically the reception and Wifi service was patchy at best. Location is a tram ride from town but not walking distance. The other hotel V on Fredreiksplein looked far better.
