It a was very, very clean hotel and we had a fantastic room at the front on the 2nd floor with a nice balcony. Breakfast was lovely and didnt have to get up too early as it didnt finish until 11am! The hotel had everything we required for a weekend break, although a good 15/20 minute walk from city centre and attractions it was nicely tucked away and very quiet on an evening!. Very friendly and helpful staff, great accomodation with the possibility to make yourself a tea or coffee, it's very near the Rembrant Square without all the noisy tourism crowd.

There is also a great Thai restaurant around the corner called White Elephant- excellent food.The hotel is walking distance to a big market and museums one way, and the city center another way. It is very easy to get there from the central train station. Our room was comfy, big enough and got cleaned every day. The breakfast was tasty too. is located in a good place not too much in the center so it is peaceful and not noisy but also not too far so you can reach the center very easy. The breakfast was excellent. Hotel was easy to find and very close to public transport. I appreciated the late breakfast times, and the assistance of the reception staff.Quiet. It was easy and took about 15 minutes to get to the downtown by publictransportation and also by foot. the shower was very spacious. and the room was big for the price.We have rated the rooms as excellent, and they were very good - but I think you will soon need to replace some mattresses, two of ours were too old. More variety breakfast would be great. several steps up to hotel entrancemakes it unsuitable for guests with severe disablities, but if you can manage them, the hotel does have good ground floor rooms and a lift. room is too small. Only issue was my room was exceptionally hot - as it gets some solar gain, shouldn't be a problem in cold weather though. Lift very slow and staircase very narrow, steep spiral which was a challenge - difficult to walk up/down. Can't tell any. This hotel is much much more better than some other hotels with this price I've lived in Amsterdam. The poor light that my room had.needs air conditioning. Additional taxes charged at the last minute were quite harsh. room small. the price on check out. The rooms are small.The bathroom mirror. If you are short (less than 5'4"), you will not see your face. They do have a retractable shaving mirror that helps. Also, one of the bulbs in the bathroom was out, so it was a little dark. The staff at the front desk were not really interested in helping when we asked for suggestions on where to eat in the area.Triple room was a bit too small. Breakfast room too small.If the hotel is full you hardly find place to sit.No problems with the hotel. Housekeeping.My room was next to the elevator and laundry and under the lobby so there was too much noise. More insulation please!. hotel was a little too far out of town. We had a small oscillating fan though so when we turned it on we were fine.Breakfast room layout prooved a problem. Ther breakfast was nothing special - croissants semed a bit hard and bread / rolls unexciting. However, there was plenty of choice and we were able to find something which was OK for us.It was a bit of a walk from downtown-but not bad. Parking is atrocious and both the parking garages nearby were filled up. We had to park at the hospital, a 20 minute walk away. the rooms are very small and the price for these facilitis are very rise. The breakfast is delicious. But it will be too standard as i eat the same food for breakfast everyday for 5 continuous days. Website description specified room with double bed but in reality it was a twin bed. A little smaller than we would have liked and expected. The bathroom was a bit smelly, there was no ventilation. too noisy.
