Customer service at Pension Polaris was exceptional! Our host, Mr. Noh, spoke some Englsih, which was really helpful. He offered to pick us up at the Visitors' Information Center when we arrived at Gyeongju, gave us a quick tour in his car, showed us how to get around town by bus, and even took us to the supermarket. The nearest bus stop was 5 minutes away only, though we definate - Owner personally greeted us when we checked in. He speaks English very well. When he discovered I was learning Korean, he tried his best to encourage me to speak and even brought me to his local cafe for a meal, where nobody spoke English. His wife made the most wonderful breakfasts on both of the days I was there. If I ever travel to Gyeongju again, this is the house I would choose to stay in.
