  The hosts were fantastic and made every effort to make us feel welcome and it was as if we were in a traditional Japanese home.   The staff were very friendly and satisfied all our wishes. The dinner and breakfast were incredible value for the price. The baths are nice and you might be lucky enough to spot Mt Fuji through the clouded windows. We stayed at a Japanese style room, a bit basic but quite ok for the price. You can rent bicycles which I would certainly encourage you to do if you stay longer, as going around the lake with the - Great getaway location from the southern part which is crowded and touristy. The owner provides free shuttle to and from kawaguchi-ko station so distant location is not an issue at all. The owner is friendly and is keen to help with any questions should they arise. He's very adept in speaking english too and that helps alot. Each guest (or party of guests) get assigned 45 minutes of private hot bath at no additional cost. The lounge has fireplace that is lit up in the night. Wonderful atmospher

  Pension Kamifusen is a place well-worth the stay for the night at Kawaguchiko. We received a lot of help and understanding from the owners, despite our inability to communicate effectively. The owners were genuinely helpful and friendly. They offered to fetch us to the bus station when we missed the timing for the bus at the bus-stop nearer to Ka... what people say » mifusen. In addition, the place had excellent decorations which make you feel warmth and cosy. Excellent food were also served, with taste of the foo - Really warm hospitality and the owner made arrangements for the participants in the 2013 Fujisan Marathon, something I really appreciate alot!   although the hotel was 2 km from the train station the owner came to pick us and retuned us in the next day. the place itself is not new but well kept　and maintained.　at the time of our arrival we were the only guests in the hotel, which shortly became an advantage, because we had the whole bath for ourselves. the brakefest was very good, we love... what people say » d it. i am defenetly recommand on this place!!!! - The inn is located at a quite good location, which is within walking distance from Kawaguchiko station and close to the lake. Also there are two combini stores just next to the inn. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice and the view of Fujisan from the room was amazing.

  Not much - History, this hotel has been the same since 1930's where the Emperor of Japan stays there for his honeymoon before he started WWII. But the staffs were very helpful, although there were only 3 staffs to serve the entire hotel of 200 rooms, still they are very helpful.

  Waking up right next to Mount Fuji was amazing. We had a spectacular view from our room, and the Fuji-Q Highland Amusement Park we went to visit was a five minute walk away, also seen from our window.   Best view for Fuji-san. Everything is good. Walking trail is very very good indeed. Fuji-san will wake you up early morning. - Location. The room with a view of Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko is the best.
