Offering traditional rooms with views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Komaya Ryokan has a hot public bath and can serve home-cooked Japanese meals for breakfast and dinner. It is a 10-minute drive to Fujikyu Highland Amusement Park. Each room at Ryokan Komaya is air-conditioned and furnished with a low table and floor cushions. Guests sleep on a tatami (woven-straw) floor in futon bedding. Bathrooms and toilets are shared. Located right by Lake Kawaguchi, the ryokan is a 5-minute walk to Kawaguchiko Music Forest Museum. It is a 20-minute bus ride from Kawaguchiko Train Station and a 15-minute drive from the Kawaguchiko Interchange (IC). Parking is free. Fishing can be enjoyed from the small pier just in front of the inn. Dinner must be reserved at least 3 days in advance and requires an extra fee. Soba buckwheat noodles can be eaten for lunch. Dinner is served at 18:00 sharp, no exceptions.

Best view for Fuji-san. Everything is good. Walking trail is very very good indeed. Fuji-san will wake you up early morning. Location. The room with a view of Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko is the best. After 10.00AM we have to go outside for ryokan cleaning. Can not take a bath in the morning. We had to 'reserve' the bathroom in advance. Only 2 persons are allowed (or 3 max) in each turn - with a duration of 1 hour max. Those who arrived late will be left with no choice but selecting the remaining time slots. In the morning, the bathroom / onsen was locked and we couldn't take a bath before departure. Big downside for us.
