  A truly Japanese experience. We hand a japanese style room, with a picture postcard view of the lake and mount fuji in the distance. Upon arrival, we were served tea in our room. The large room was partitioned with a sliding japanese screen doors, dividing the bedroom and seating areas. We opted for the shared bathroom (there is a toilet in the ro... what people say » om). We really didn't know what to expect. It's a traditional, segregated male and female, bathing area. Just what we all needed after a busy day sigh - spacious room with own terrace and bar makes me more relaxing while looking to the lake in front of me. during afternoon before dinner , walking in lake for about 5 mins walk from hotel is very convenient.and we try the japanese style room! was fantastic! should really try to first time in japan.they have also shuttle bus which u can ask to pick u up in nearest station.thier english is pretty understable so probably it will be good enough to zero percent japanese langauage.lots of near japanese

  Superior view of shy Mt. Fuji. Friendly and helpful staff. Very large room, especially in Japanese standards. Room had a TV (only japanese stations as far as I have seen), free Wifi, fridge. Hotel has a coin laundry. Some restaurants and supermarket nearby. We are very impressive from accommodation, nice view to see Fuji-San, great dinner, onsen available and very nice service. Even a location is a bit far from station (because we are tourist, don't use a private car) but hotel has a van service, very very very nice! Recommend !!!

  Lovely place to stay to experience a traditional Japanese style hotel. Fantastic views of the lake from our room and of Mount Fuji from the roof garden. The lady who looked after us and served our meals in our room was very polite and helpful, even explaining how to wear the cotton kimono provided by the hotel. The staff called "maiyumi" was so helpful during our stay, being able to introduce the facilities and foods in simple English. The dinner and breakfast are excellent, location is good and they can arrange free transport between train station and hotel. Highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting the place.

  I stayed in two seperate rooms over two days on opposite sides of the hotel. The first had a wonderful view of Mt. Fuji, and the second a perfect view of Fujikawaguchiko Lake. - Beautiful Lakeside Location on the shores a beautiful Lake. Outstanding French restaurant in the Hotel with exceptional Food.

  Location fantastic from kawaguchiko station. Centre spot of Mount Fuji. Staff spoke good english, pleasant and helped me with my lost ticket. Facilities are fanstastic, free wifi, internet, coffee, recreation area.. Hot running Onsen upstairs and clean toilet facilities. Traditional japanese single room with TV, futon, kettle and very clean and ... what people say » quiet. Overall my stay at kawaguchiko station and the views of mount fuji were the highlight of my trip to japan. - Location is great, very near the train station. I stayed in the Japanese- style room and it was good. The room is spacious for Japanese standards and the shared toilet was clean. The communal bathroom is clean and of good space too. Staff was very friendly. They let us keep our bag for 36 hours until we came back from a climb in the mountain and everything was safe there.

Dinner at hotel must book 1 day before , but if you arrive before 8pm there is a japanese restaurant just 100m away and very good. Bus from Shinjuku 1700 Yen is most convenience just 2 hours, forget about JP pass. The room is spacious and clean, whereas the bathroom is a bit small. Breakfast and dinner are very good. The location is close to bus station. Moreover, hotel also gives visitors a free pickup service from/to Kawaguchiko train station.

  All of it. The facilities (really traditional Japanese), all the small things were think about. The service, they even took care of our almost left-behind passports and left-behind goods. They picked us up at the Kawaguchi station. They bring us back to Kawaguchi station any time we have to go there. The staff can speak English good. The - 5 course dinner to the room was an amazing experience. Our bedroom was facing mt. Fuji, even though it wasn't the most expensive option. We went for a Japanese style room, it was comfortable and relatively spacious. Onsen is facing lake Kawaguchi. It's well equipped and spotless. You get to wear Japanese dressing gowns, pyjamas and slippers. We asked for a converter, they didn't have it but they kindly lent us their own iphone5 charger.
