  We had absolutely fantastic stay at the hotel. It is relatively new (12 year old) family run, little place with 7 guest rooms. The hotel is located in Volastra village, which is on the top of the hill between two 5 Terre towns of Manarola and Cornigla... Very friendly hostess will explain you everything... The Hotel was spotless and the rooms were really comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and a glass of wine or cappuccino was extremely reasonable. There was even a garage beneath the hotel to park our car. This was the first of many stops on our Italy/Sicily tour and it was a delightful place to relax after our flight from the US to Milan. I must say Riomaggiore is a good base if you would - This little place is in the perfect spot if you are arriving into the Cinque Terre by car. Free car parking is provided which is a huge bonus here. We found the staff awesome, Francesca emailed very comprehensive information as soon as we booked and was fabulous to deal with on the front desk. There is no staff at the premises overnight so we were given a front door key. The room is perfectly adequate and had everything we needed.
