  It was centraly located but close to the sea with amazing views. The staff were very helpfull. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel and our bedroom were spotless. Would definatly reccomend to anyone. - the elegance and location of this hotel was a high point.a complete breakfast was included and it was delicious

  The view is just amazing and its position in Sorrento great. The breakfasts were the best of all our 3 weeks in Italy and the staff very helpful. - Excellent view of the bay of Naples from our balcony. Our room was bright clean and had a large balcony and the staff were very friendly.

  My wife and I have traveled fairly extensively. I am not exaggerating when I say that this was the finest hotel we have ever stayed in. It is certainly possible to find more expensive hotels. But the staff -- and it does make an incredible difference -- was deeply warm and welcoming, and helped us out during a transportation snafu. Ac, Raffaele, and Mar - We had four days in Sorrento and was very happy with our choice in Hotel Regina. My advice would be to choose a room with a full view as the view of the water and Mt. Vesuvius was a delight. The view from the breakfast room is also truly gorgeous, making eating twice as good. There is no restaurant available for other meals but not an issue for us as plenty of little restaurants in Sorrento to choose from. We would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Cant understand some of the comments on the LetsBookHotel.com site about distance from town - my 12 year old daughter had no problem walking this and there is a hotel bus that makes transfers at regular times. View... what people say » from the pool is breathtaking and worth the trip itself. - The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. Prior to our arrival they arranged a private van tour of the Amalfi Coast for our group of 8. The rooms were extremely clean. The breakfast was good and the view from the 5th floor breakfast room is stunning, right at Vesuvius. All the rooms have a balcony with a view. The rooftop pool is beautiful. Free shuttle. Rooms were as pictured on website

  The hotel is well positioned - about a 8-10minute walk from town and bus/train station but therefore away from busy streets. The view across to Vesuvius is fantastic. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a sea facing room which was much appreciated. The buffet breakfast offers everything you could want!   I had booked the hotel online and didn't really know what to expect. The staff was outstanding in every way. They greeted us warmly and made us feel as if we had just come home. They offered to help make arrangements for tours and gave great recommendations for restaurants. If we needed anything they were there to assist us.   Hotel Continental was beautiful! The lobby and public areas were first class and the room was beautiful as well. The bathroom was very big especially for European standards. They had a nightly turn-down service which was so nice and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The location could not be better. We actually walked from - Our room was lovely with the sea view balcony. And it was not just any sea view, it was the fantastic blue Mediterranean with Vesuvius. One could have gazed it 24/7! The staff was incredibly friendly everywhere: reception, restaurant, bar, the cleaning ladies. Always with a big smile and a friendly comment. The hotel itself is lovely with its feeling of the old days but updated for today. Its location could not have been better with a view to dream of and a short way to everywhere in Sorrent

  Recepionist was very helpful we wanted to book in for an extra night and there was no problem - Peace and quietness/very good service of the courtesy bus and a very good driver in Mariano.
