The room was lovely but the ladies at the front desk made the stay the best -- from mailing my postcards to providing hot water for tea at night. We had DSL in the room which was great. Absolutely breathtaking views from every area of the hotel. Our room felt more like a private suite. It was very private and include a small terrace with an umbrelled table and chairs. Breakfast was superior with a courtyard...most pleasant way to start your day. The restaurant was a huge surprise, at least 4 stars, with very knowledgeable servers.

Be sure to ask for the room on the upper floors with a view. The view is spectacular from up there and the walk up (no elevator) is worth the hike. The breakfast is good and the people polite. You are right in the center of the old town and the evening bar next door is good for a nightcap or snack. Safe place even late at night and the bag storage

Everything was lovely. Rooms were spacious, and shared bathroom was large and modern. Only 3 rooms in the villa means not a lot of people going in and out. Our hostess was very enthusiastic and helpful and served us breakfast in the garden. We loved the location just outside the city walls but only 10 mins. walk.
