This hotel has an excellent location for exploring the area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is a beautiful garden area which would have made a lovely spot to sit and relax if we'd had any time to. The breakfast buffet was exceptionally good and varied. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. I liked the architecture and gardens of the hotel, its location and its friendly but elegant interior. The staff were helpful, polite and efficient. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel had a car park which was very convenient too. This hotel was exceptional value for money. It made our stay very enjoyable.

Much effort obviously goes into the running and maintenance of the hotel and grounds. Good location for Assisi. Also, extremely big room, lovely wood floors. Good breakfast.The shower in our room would have been too small for many travelers. Front rooms can be noisy if windows are open. However, w/ AC and windows closed, no problem.No internet, no diner. Maybe for somebody this is the main elements. But we got dinner in lovely place of Assisis. The staff doesn't speak English and German and it was for me a big problem to communicate.It was a little bit tricky to bring all the luggage into 3rd floor bystairs, but it understandable that old vila has no elevator. When the owner was not around, the lady who was, which we thought was his mother, didn't speak any English. So struggled a little.Traffic noise.
