We stayed in the apartment, with 2 bedrooms and baths, which was great for a family of 5. A/C worked well, and we had a fully functional kitchen. Pool is clean and modern, could have used more shade near it. The staff was delightful, expecially the main clerk Christiano who went out of his way to accommodate us. There is a very nice restaurant a few hundred meters up the road. The room was stocked with very good and affordable local wine.

Don't make the same mistake I did, reserve dinner in advance, all of the food is homemade. Dinner smelled delicious, but we had a picnic with food bought at the local market and enjoyed the truly spectacular view, with a bottle of wine from their vineyard that was fantastic. Great pool. Breakfast included delicious homemade jams. Truly a great place to stay for just a night or a month.
