This place is a true Tuscanian gem! Besides being very welcoming and helpful, Luciano and his wife made us feel at home in an instant. Our room was impeccable every day. Sitting at the pool and watching the sun setting behind the midieval towers of San Giminiano, surrounded by the smell of lavender is a breathtaking experience. The most beautiful view in Italy, the staff treated us as if we were their personal guests at home, the peace and quiet and the excellent possibilities for activities in the area.

The Podere La Costa is easy to find. If arriving by car from Rome or Milan from the A1 highway, exit "Firenze Certosa", take the "Firenze-Siena" motorway going toward Siena and exit at "Poggibonsi Nord". Follow the signs for "San Gimignano" for approximately 7.5 km. To your right will see an unpaved road with a small church at the very edge road which is marked "Pietrafitta" in red, there is also a sign "Pietrafitta 1", take this unpaved road for approximately 1.3 km and will see a sign "Podere La Costa", this the main driveway. Go to the reception to advice of your arrival.
