The location was excellent! right next to the Spanish Stairs - close to everything and a beautiful place. Even when we got back from a party at night - this area felt really safe. The owner of the hotel, Mauro, was very kind and helpful, if you are not sure of what to do or where to eat - he is the man to ask. All the furnitures in the room are new (as well as the bathroom), furthermore, the room are cleaned every day very thoroughly, which Creates a comfortable feeling. there is a continental .
all reviews » The Inn is a Boutique Hotel and functions much like a bed and Breakfast inn rather than a full service hotel. The Innkeeper goes above and beyond to help his guests with anything they need, even in My case a small loan of euros until I could get to a bank. The place is small by us standards but similar to other rome locations. Its' location is excellent just a few yards from spagna Square ( Spanish Steps) and close to dining and shopping. The inn has wonderful relationships with Local restauran. This was my 7th time in Italy and this place was really my favorite place to stay. Good price, good location, good staff, and CLEAN!!!This place is located on the second floor of a condo. (There is a small elevator). It is a small place with five rooms, but it is very clean and the location is just perfect. It can be hard to find it, but if you face the Spanish Steps, the street ( Via di San Sebastianello, 8) is on the left side, between Versace and Escada. Basically seconds away from the Steps. location is right next to metro station. hotel furniture was new; amenities were high quality. room was spacious. italian lady on reception was sweet. they upgraded our reservation to a triple room because we were on honeymoon (for free). hotel owner helped us and gave us advise on touring the city internet was the fastest i used in italy. AC was strong. It is a new hotel(4 mos. old) in an older building. The interior of the rooms and the bathrooms are brand new and comfortable. The location is excellent. Two minutes away from the metro and the Spanish Steps. Easy walking distance to the shopping and dining areas. Small hotel but you get good value for the money. I saw a note that it was not easy to find but it is rather New so make certain to use the address for the driver 8 via san sabastino. hotel owner is a drama queen; made such a big fuzz about upgrading our reservation from double to triple room. on our last day we returned to the room 30 minutes after check out time and we found our luggage outside. i woke up on all 3 nights to the sound of trucks and workers in the street. hotel is merely a single apartment of a big building; redecorated to be a hotel with 5 rooms. elevator was 1 square meter. can not fit more than 2 pieces of luggage. manual; not automatic. Its not a hotel there is no Lobby, it containts 5 rooms only with samll dining area. The reception is just outside of the rooms (there are only five of them); therefore you hear almost everything that happens there. This may be uncofortable, especially if you want to rest in the afternoon. the place was not easy to find. While easy to locate - doesn't look like a hotel on the outside so may be overlooked. Breakfast could have been a little more extensive than just croissants and toast. Breakfast was disappointing and the rooms were badly sound-proofed.
