Additional tv channels in english would have been a plus. we would have liked some ironing facilities ie an iron/ironing board, we had to settle for wrinkled clothes for our five day stay. As is typical of hotels in the center of Rome the single rooms are very small; I really wish they were even just 3 to 5 sq m larger... The room was a bit small but still comfortable. Small room. Only that I booked an executive double room and it was so small I do not see how a standard double room could have been any smaller so am not sure I actually got the executive double room.#1 - The first night we were in the corner room on the 2nd floor - lovely street view but the noise at night was horrible. We moved to an interior room without a "view", and it was absolutely quiet. #2 - The bedroom was too small, but the bathroom was clean, modern and of adequate size (as usual in Italy, the shower stall is very small). Not big room for 3 persons. poor internet connection. Room was small but that that is typical in many European hotels.The prices in the bar downstairs were very expenisve, not much TV choice for foreign travellers. only downside is that central location can mean noise from the street. On our first night we were kept awake for hours by noisy people outside but on subsequent nights all was fine.the bar shut at 9. the room needed some upgrades i.e. hotel directory. alarm clock. I thought the Hotel Room lacked information and convenience items i.e.info book, no radio,music, dvd player. The windows were open with out a screen. There were Spiders in the room.the size of the rooms were very small. room was very small for the price. breakkfast was not inlcluded, the room was very small. There was not coffee pot. Room was described as 'Delux' so we were not expecting it to be so tiny but it was clean and comfortable.only the view from our room. too expensive.

Travelling information

Coming from the airport Leonardo da Vinci at Fiumicino by car

Get on to the motorway/Autostrada "Fiumicino/Roma" and follow indications for Roma eventually getting on to Grande Raccordo Anulare GRA (loop road) following indications for "Aurelia" (1st exit - Roma Centro).
Once exiting, follow along Via Aurelia, Circonvallazione Aurelia changing into Via Gregorio VII up until Largo di Porta Cavalleggeri.
Reaching the Tunnel "Galleria Principe Amedeo", pass over the bridge Principe Amedeo and follow up until Lungotevere dei Fiorentini.
Go along Lungotevere for about 1.5 kilometers and turn right onto Via Tomacelli. After about 300 meters you will find Via del Corso / Piazza Agusto Imperatore.
Turn left and cross over Via del Corso, entering onto Via Vittoria. At your first right, tenter into Via Belfiana
Go straight on down Via Belfiana, and after you pass Via Fratina, the 6th street will be Via della Vite where you find Hotel Homs at # 71.
Note:The area where Hotel Homs is found is a restricted parking area and therefore if you are coming by car, it is necessary to make arrangements with the Hotel when making your reservation.

Coming from the airport Leonardo da Vinci by train

Inside the airport terminal you will find the local train "Leonardo Express" that will take you directly to Rome's main railway station, Termini.
Once at Termini Station, get on the underground Line "A" in the direction of "Battistini". Get off at the third stop, "Spagna". Once off, go left and walk up to the 4th street, Via delle Vite, about 200 meters.

Notes on baggage: If you are traveling with baggage and wish to take a taxi for convenience, a taxi line can be found at the main exit.

Coming from the airport Ciampino

At the exit of the airport you can find a local bus service that will bring you to the underground stop of "Anagnina" (line A). Take the underground A up to the "Spagna" stop. Once you get off, go left and walk up to the 4th street, Via della Vite, about 200 meters.

By Bus from Termini Station
From Termini Station catch the bus #71 and get off at Piazza San Silvestro stop. Once off the bus, stay to the right and after 200 meters on Via della Vite you will find Hotel Homs.

By Underground from Termini Station
Catch the Metro Line A and get off at Piazza di Spagna. Once you get off, go left and walk up to the 4th street, Via della Vite, about 200 meters.
