  The location was perfect - metres from the main street. Really good breakfast - just ask for eggs, bacon, cheese etc. Roof terrace was great, lots of sun loungers and not too crowded. Pool is not huge but fine to cool off in.and has lovely views. They can organise a cheap trip to a nearby private beach which was definitely worth doing. We got the ... what people say » bus from the airport which solved the parking problem, and was easy to use. Bus station is about 15 mins downhill on the way home though we did get a - The staff where very friendly and always happy to help. We had a very pleasant week. Rooms are small but big enough not to be too cramped if staying longer the a few days. Was excepting a little noise from other reviews but did not experience any inconvenience late at night.

We arrived late at night, but the man at the reception was extremely nice!! He explained all excursions, answered all of our questions (millions of them), and was able to share with us his love of the volcano. This certainly made our stay. The room was great, super clean, wifi is great.

  The general staff attitude was excellent. English was well spoken and there were no serious communication difficulties. Although dining was a bit of a bear garden the choice of food was perfectly satisfactory, wine was included and there were no difficulties with teenagers having second or third helpings.   The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was relaxing and delicious. The location was in a quiet area yet two blocks from the main street.   Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Good internet connection. Parking always available outside the hotel. A good-sized room. The heating/cooling system was excellent at all times and not noisy. The shower was very large (although a bit old and tired). The view over the harbour from our room. The panoramic view in the breakfast room and a good breakfa... what people say » st with cold meats, cheese, muesli, yoghurt, fresh fruit and juice (as well as the usual Italian cakes). - The location was superb and as we chose not to drive on our short break, the buses, bars and restaurants were all on our doorstep. Our room had lovely sea views and we were not disappointed with anything. Our host was most welcoming and we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Walter for your hospitality and kindness.

  Very nice staff, absolutely helpful, kind and friendly. The hotel is well-located, very close to the city center (app. 10 minutes walk from Piazza D'uomo), and very close to the fancy bar, Spinella :) On the other hand the rooms are not noisy at all. The prices are very good compared to the location and the service. And the breakfast was just love... what people say » ly! The fresh bread with blood-orange juice and the desserts... Awesome! I can just reccomend Domus Hotel Catania to anyone! - Large, clean rooms, well equipped . The balconies facing Via Etnea are small, but yes, you do see Etna. Very nice staff, both at reception and breakfast. The central location on Via Etnea is convenient; of course it comes with street noise - but the solid window shutters together with the air condition solved our sleeping problems. In short, excellent value for money.
