  We loved the setting in the Tuscan hills, the wonderful staff, the charm of the old villa. The pool was also nice and the villa was located in driving distance to many of the cities we wanted to visit.   Absolutely nothing. It was a horrible hotel and I would encourage everyone to avoid it. It was dirty. TV and air did not work. Tile in bathroom was cracked. The room smelled of urine. If it had not been so late I would have left. I almost left and slept in car. If I had to do over again. I would sleep in car before staying there.   The wineyard, staff, the room, the surrondings, the food, the wine..... - Nice family hotel fealing. Nice dinner served by lady of the house. The room was very romantic, only the shower had strange arrangement letting all the water on the bathroom floor.

  The grounds, accomodations, and staff made this visit quite a surprise since we booked on line. Being able to have handcrafted Italian dinners on the terrace with Chianti made from the vines just behind the villa made this a spectacular spot!
