  The grounds, accomodations, and staff made this visit quite a surprise since we booked on line. Being able to have handcrafted Italian dinners on the terrace with Chianti made from the vines just behind the villa made this a spectacular spot! You can't go wrong booking this spot! - Location, wonderful room, friendly staff, lovely meal, great ambiance - very tranquil. And the grounds were amazing - not to mention the pool.

  What a find! The high hillside location and views were delightful. The staff were professional, helpful, welcoming and polite. We had a traditional Tuscan meal in the evening, which saved us from trekking downhill again. They rang my home in UK to find out when we would arrive.   Absolutely nothing. It was a horrible hotel and I would encourage everyone to avoid it. It was dirty. TV and air did not work. Tile in bathroom was cracked. The room smelled of urine. If it had not been so late I would have left. I almost left and slept in car. If I had to do over again. I would sleep in car before staying there.
