My family of 4 with senior parents, spent 14 days in italy and stayed at 5 hotels, this one has the highest score regarding Benefit/Cost ratio. The staff are extremely friendly, and the owner decorated the place with a lot of thoughts and love. We love 2 nights at the top floor. It is a 2 bedroom apt. spacious and facilities has everything you want. the beddings are very clean and soft. we will choose this lovely house again if visiting Orvieto next time.
all reviews » The receptionist is very nice and polite to us. The hotel enjoys a very good geographical location since it is in the city centre, which is around 5 minutes walk from the fabulous Duomo. Meanwhile, the room is quite cleam. We also cooked pasta in the booked room, the host gave us oil and you can have all the tableware that you need. I will also recommend this hotel to my friend who will come later to orvieto. Due to flight complications, we did not arrive until after midnight. We called and a staff member was willing to wait up for us. The B&B was remarkably clean and quiet with a great location. Be sure to visit the market just a block away on Thursday morning for unmatchable produce. Valentina and her staff were very friendly and could not do enough for you. They were very accommodating. And treated you like family! Valentina's was centrally located and a short walk to everything Orvieto has to offer. The rooms were very clean and authentic Italian....Beautiful. The entry was on a pedestrian street around the corner from the nice Piazza de Popolo. Valentina was friendly and helpful hostess. Private parking was available for a small fee since two mornings week there is a mercato in the Piazza and you cant park there. Great location, wonderful staff! We were very pleased with the 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in. Valentina even mailed us the items we left behind. Wow! They really go above and beyond for their customers. We would definitely stay there again. We were so very comfortable at this b & B. The staff and owner were friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. Thought the whole apartment was in the package and it turned out to be shared common area. The ceiling was low and that was not noted. One reviewer said the wifi was strong but I didn't find it to be so. The picture on the web sight was nothing like our room and our experience. The shower stall is moldy and the shower door not easy to operate. There is no breakfast included not even coffee and no coffee machine in room. The maid who gave us instructions about the place was stressed and rigid. Directions were given more like it was a military and not in a relaxed format. There is little communication with owner. Very disappointed in this place.
