The hotel was very comfortable and excellently situated for our planned trips by train to Como and Cremona. The staff at reception, the luggage porters, in the restaurant and the lady on floor 6 who cleaned our room were all very helpful and proficient. The breakfast buffet was brilliant, with a wide choice, and the coffee superb, as always in Italy.

The best advantage of Starhotels Splendido is given by the walking distance to the Central Station, from you can take the train to the rest of Italy and even Europe. The second thing that i have really enjoyed was the breakfast (they have baked apples!!!! Yohooo!!!) Good deal for Milan! The heating was not functioning and it was a strange noise coming from the AC.the hotel could improve on its room and hallway carpets, room amenities like safe boxes and maybe upgrade to flat screen TV. When we checked in,they wanted to guranted for the total amount of theroom.they took credıt card for the gurantedd of the room. When wechecked out,there had a complicatıon about payıng the bill.They saidthat they didnt take the amount from our cards but when we asked thebank, they told that they took the amount but it hasnt passed theıraccount.So when the caRD extra wıll come, we'll see.internet connection.
