The reception was extremely pleasant. I booked a double room for single use (at a discounted rate) and the room was above my expectations - large, with a balcony, a big bathroom, a whole set of bathing accessories. The ceiling is v.high so the room looks very spacious and full of light. The windows faced the inside court- the traffic didn't disturb me.Sound isolation is good.Breakfast is generous.

WE ERE ABLE TO RETAIN THE SUITE TILL 1PM SO IT MADE A BIG DIFFERENCE TO OUR DAY AS WE WERE NOT GOING ON THE SLEEPER TO PARIS TILL 11.30PM. STAFF COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE ACCOMMODATING. WE OFFERED TO PAY FOR AN EXTRA HALF DAY BUT UNFORTUNATELY THE HOTEL WAS FULLY BOOKED.The welcome reception at our late arrival, by Mr. Luigi. The cleaness of the room, and the wonderful (clean) bathroom. I will recommend this hotel to anyone, travelling with family. The breakfast is plenty and the variety is wonderful. We had an A/C failure on last day, but it was a technical problem, and seen that staff did all possible to correct it. Lovely hotel with very easy access to the Central station and it only takes about 3 mins to walk from the airport buses too so saves on taxi fares. Lower down on the opposite side of Via Scarlatti is a fantastic Pizzaria called The Kitchen- great food, great atmosphere and great prices.Excellent location,being very close to the central train station and to the metro. The hotel staff should explain to guests that there is a bus service that can take you directly to the airport for a lot less than the 90 Euro taxi ride. There was no sign for that at the checkout desk.i asked to pay by cash, which they agreed to as i was travelling for a job interview and didn't want my employer here to find out, however when i checked out my company card had been debited. The charged 3€ for a 30 minutes connection to their wifi. With the price of the rooms, wifi should definitely be included.If I am being picky, maybe they could offer cooked breakfast. On the last day they had scrambled egg and bacon but it was dry and looked like it had been there a while. That is the only thing - everything else was excellent!. location.
