  This is an amazing place. Everything was perfect-tidy, clean and stylish hotel. Very nice englishspeaking receptionist-she gaves us many helpfull advices for the old Lucca town and ideas for good restaurants there. Perfect breakfast with very good lavazza cappuccino. Excelent service! We rented bikes to enjoy old part of Lucca and it - Beautifully restored Villa, high quality fittings,traditional Italian style,spotlessly clean room, lots of good quality choices in breakfast buffet. Friendly and efficient staff could not do enough to help us, excellent English and French is spoken. Nothing was too much trouble - thank you for an excellent stay in beautiful Lucca. Lovely relaxing area with hot tub etc. too.

  This is a lovely hotel made special by attention to detail. Our room ( junior suite) was extremely comfortable and even had tea and coffee making facilities. The owner is very helpful and friendly, and it was great to have use of the free bikes.   The staff were extremely helpful. The location was excellent. We had a 6 year old with us and the walk into Lucca city walls was managable. The bike hire arrangement was great and very resonably priced. The swimming pool was lovely.   La Corte degli Angeli is a fantastic hotel, in the very centre of Lucca, in a quiet street. Our room was really big and cosy and with shutters (very important for me, as I need obscurity to sleep. The bathroom was gorgeous, with jacuzzi and TV. Breakfast was also really good.   BandB Le Giare with Massimo, Claudia and their parents was the best accommodation in all of our 8 weeks travel in Italy. It was like going home and the hospitality exceeded that of hotels. They are very special people. Massimo took time to drive us out to a restaurant for fear of us getting lost! I highly recommend this as a must stay on any it... what people say » inerary for Tuscany.
