  Very year I stay at the Leon D'oro for the trade show in Vicenza in May. Its location close to the station is a plus and the walk to verona Centro is pleasant. I lobby is very welcoming and the recent changes is very refreshing.   Great place if You are traveling by car. It's located just by the highway's exit. Parking around is free. It's connected to the Verona town center by a 5km two-lane straight road. 25 km to the Garda lake (south-east end). - The restaurant facilities were far better than most Ibis hotels and the room was a little bigger than expected.

And though the hotel is just around the corner from Piazza Bra, it was very peaceful I went there to celebrate a big birthday and staff helped with choosing a fabulous place to eat and also gave us good advice for our visit to Lake Garda. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

  The set-up is a bit weird, there is no actual hotel lobby. Instead you are given keys by the staff of the Ippoppotamo restaurant. But, then you are led to the back of the hotel and to your own private room and wow! The hotel isn't cheap but it surely is worth every cent!
