We took a taxi from Termini station direct to the hotel. Easy to find, apart from we were not aware that the reception is on the 4th floor. The hotel has a Baroque inspired interior and as such is decadent and over the top, but beautiful.The hotel is new and still had evidence of building work, but it was August and the builders were on holiday so no big deal. The location of the hotel is fantastic and centrally located for all the
major attractions, yet very quiet for sleeping. The hotel offered an
excellent breakfast with a good choice of food, including cooked, cold
meats, fruit, cereals, breads. To our extremely pleasant surprise we
were upgraded to an appartment on the top floor with a rooftop patio
overlooking Rome. It was all absolutely fabulous. No complaints at all
and would definitely recommend.

The hotel staff were all very nice and extremely helpful. They assisted with setting up tours and transportation. They even packed our breakfast to go, since our tour departed before the restaurant opened. We didn't spend much time in the room other than to shower and sleep, but the rooms were comfortable with good air conditioning (August!) and doors that opened to the courtyard. We were able to walk to many of the major sites. It was lovely.
