Right after the booking I got an e-mail from the staff, which welcomed my booking and gave basic info about the B&B.
The B&B was easy to find, almost next to the Duomo. The B&B was on the second floor, with about 40 steps of stairs. The room with the external bathroom was basic with queen bed, TV, little table, minibar, chair, cupboard

We were impressed by maps and useful information of the city given after checking in at the hotel by a hotel staff.

Great location. Stones throw away from the Duomo and the busy cute streets (city centre). Clean rooms and beautifully decorated. Very family friendly. We stayed 6 nights in the summer.
The location is simply perfect. The rooms are great as well - spacious, clean and with good facilities (water cooker for example). I'd advise to pay for the airco in the summer to close the windows to prevent noise from outside.
The breakfast is also very nice; outside of the B&B in a typical Florentine bakery

We ended up in a small suite in another building which had a complete kitchen. The location is great; in the 'Dante' area of Florence. The person in charge of the hotel - Raymond - speaks English and is very helpful (he was born around the corner from the hotel). Keep in mind that Florence in June is packed with tourists and that Florence is an expensive city compared to other Tuscan cities.
