Right after the booking I got an e-mail from the staff, which welcomed my booking and gave basic info about the B&B.
The B&B was easy to find, almost next to the Duomo. The B&B was on the second floor, with about 40 steps of stairs. The room with the external bathroom was basic with queen bed, TV, little table, minibar, chair, cupboard

Mandy and her staff were so very helpful. The beds were very comfortable
(and large) for Europe - Actually the most comfortable we've slept
in since beginning our European travels nearly a year ago. The location
is excellent - a short walk from the train station and right next to the
Duomo. It is an easy walk to most of the sites, and in the heart of the
beautiful city. Even so, when the windows were closed, we could not hear

Great location. Stones throw away from the Duomo and the busy cute streets (city centre). Clean rooms and beautifully decorated. Very family friendly. Has a small elevator which helps to transport luggage (we were on 4th floor). Breakfast vouchers for food from cafe next door which gave a fruit drink, coffee, croissant and sandwich. Excellent position. Easy to find, close to the train/bus station and
just 1 minute walk from the Duomo. Great terrace view, in summer should
be more useful as it rained during our stay in Florence the woman at the
reception was very kind and helpful. She let us leave the luggage and
arranged our check-in even if we weren't able to meet her as
arrived. After all for such a price and a strategic position it's a
really good choice for those who care about the money

We stayed 6 nights in the summer.
The location is simply perfect. The rooms are great as well - spacious, clean and with good facilities (water cooker for example). I'd advise to pay for the airco in the summer to close the windows to prevent noise from outside.
The breakfast is also very nice; outside of the B&B in a typical Florentine bakery

We ended up in a small suite in another building which had a complete kitchen. The location is great; in the 'Dante' area of Florence. The person in charge of the hotel - Raymond - speaks English and is very helpful (he was born around the corner from the hotel). Keep in mind that Florence in June is packed with tourists and that Florence is an expensive city compared to other Tuscan cities. And the jacuzzi was so relaxing after days filled with walking. If you're debating whether or not to spend extra money on the room with the jacuzzi - do it!
