  The Hotel really is behind the Duomo. There was still renovationshappening inside the hotel and road works at the Piazza Fontana, butsomehow, we could hear no noise at all from our room. The rooms were in good condition as well, although most rooms have windows opening up to a narrow alley where you can't even see the sky and you can almost reach out to the neighboring room.

  I have always found the Carlton to have all ready upon my arrival. My room was available and all was in order. The staff is always very helpful and informative. You cannot beat the location of the hotel to the great shops.

  Luigi was really helpful. He didnt charge us the late check in fee and gave us extra blankets which we didn't even use because the room was really warm in that snowy Milano night.   we had an excellent time at the Sanpi--staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were superb!. very easy to access central Milan, either by walking or metro.
